Lassiter is a 30-year Navy veteran with 27 years of experience in the Naval Special operations community, and the other three years training to be an operator. Clay spent 25 years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operator spanning various operational units, serving 20 of those years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG). NSWDG is the pinnacle of special operations in which operators go through an arduous selection process and training regiment, if selected.
As an EOD operator at NSWDG, Lassiter conducted 13 combat deployments on two highly trained teams and participated in thousands of real-world operations and highly advanced training evolutions. Upon advancing off the teams, the remaining 12 years of his career was devoted to development and advancement of tools, techniques and procedures utilized in Naval Special warfare operations, as well as an Advanced training Officer for teams and operators training for war.
Lassiter advanced to the rank Chief Warrant Officer Five (CWO5) a technical expert within his field and has several qualifications to include EOD Officer, Master EOD Technician, Military Freefall Parachutist, Second Class Diver and Static Line Jumpmaster. His personal awards include the Bronze Star with Valor (3 awards), Defense Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy/Marine Commendation Medal, Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5 awards), Combat Action Ribbon, and various unit and campaign citations.

Prior to the formation of Gunner Enterprises, LLC, Frost was the President of FYF Enterprises, Chief Operating Officer of Calabasas Enterprises, Inc., CFO and Co-Founder of Hydrogen Burner Technology, LLC, Managing Director of Finance of Intelligent Energy, Inc., and Director of Finance of Primafuel, Inc.
He has over 35 years’ experience in senior financial management providing strategic and operating leadership across broad industries, markets, and technologies as well as extensive qualifications across all corporate accounting, finance and treasury functions.
Prior to those positions, Frost worked for the certified public accounting firm of Femrite, Yager & Blank and was a founder of Sterling Bank, a private Los Angeles bank formed in 1980.
Frost graduated from California State University, Northridge with a BS degree in accounting and continued graduate work in finance and taxation. He has also successfully completed the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. General Securities Registered Representative examination (Series 7 License).
Prior to his college career, Frost was a Huey helicopter door gunner with the 227th Aviation Battalion (Assault Helicopter), 1st Cavalry Division of the United States Army. He served in Vietnam from 1969 – 1970 and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism, three Bronze Stars, 19 Air Medals, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, and the Army Commendation Medal as well as several Unit Citations.
